This gets really old, really fast, and I believe the custom is not to just undo somebody's changes right after they do them. Also, "Rounin" is a descriptor, not a name.

Well, I do think this one is interesting on its own merits. ⟨δ⟩ for [χ] is a result which appeals to me, and isn’t just undoing previous changes.Rounin Ryuuji wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:20 amThis gets really old, really fast, and I believe the custom is not to just undo somebody's changes right after they do them. That's nice, but note that you singled me out in a way that comes across as pretty antagonistic in toneless text, and would appear to indicate that you were deliberately getting rid of something somebody else just did in a way you knew they would not like simply because you did not like what they had done (which you have a pattern of doing).bradrn wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:30 amWell, I do think this one is interesting on its own merits.Rounin Ryuuji wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:20 amThis gets really old, really fast, and I believe the custom is not to just undo somebody's changes right after they do them. OK, my apologies, and I’ll try to avoid doing it again.Rounin Ryuuji wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:46 amThat's nice, but note that you singled me out in a way that comes across as pretty antagonistic in toneless text, and would appear to indicate that you were deliberately getting rid of something somebody else just did in a way you knew they would not like simply because you did not like what they had done (which you have a pattern of doing).bradrn wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:30 amWell, I do think this one is interesting on its own merits.Rounin Ryuuji wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:20 am

What, two people have a bit of a confrontation on the internet, and eventually, one of them apologizes, and the other considers the matter amicably resolved? What is the internet coming to? /sarcasmRounin Ryuuji wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:23 amI think we can consider this amicably resolved, then.
Yes, I had been on the point of doing that, but had other things I needed to do.StrangerCoug wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 6:44 pmThere's precedent for letting them both continue as two separate daughter languages and making changes to both.

In a village of La Mancha, the name of which I have no desire to call to mind, there lived not long since one of those gentlemen that keep a lance in the lance-rack, an old buckler, a lean hack, and a greyhound for coursing.
(I'd have put the next two sentences as well, but it's late and this is plenty.)
