Latin word list?
Latin word list?
Does anyone know if there is a downloadable Latin vocabulary kicking around somewhere, which shows vowel lengths?
*I* used to be a front high unrounded vowel. *You* are just an accidental diphthong.

Re: Latin word list?
Given how many Latin dictionaries there are readily available, I assume what you're looking for is a plain-text dataset you can plug into a sound change applier? The closest I can find is this. Another possibility would be to just go to the Wiktionary page on Latin lemmas and copy-pasting the alphabetical list one page at a time.

It doesn't meet the requirement. Wiktionary page titles don't show vowel length, unlike say Pali pages.Glass Half Baked wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:42 pm Another possibility would be to just go to the Wiktionary page on Latin lemmas and copy-pasting the alphabetical list one page at a time.
