I know about alice, bradrn and zompist, but who else has an SCA that is actively used and/or developed?

Re: Index SCAica
There’s Lexurgy, whose creator is (I believe) not on this forum. If you drop the requirement for ‘active development’ I could add many others to the list.

Re: Index SCAica
Mine's no longer active (or at least not shared), but I did write one in Haskell. It was pretty cool writing my own featural/phonemic regex engine in a functional language.

Re: Index SCAica
I still think that mine is/was really good, but the great problem with SCAs is that while everyone thinks theirs does it best, there's not a huge user pool and distributing / maintaining / supporting / hosting stuff is a thankless task. I did host a Javascript UI for it for a while, but eventually... *shrug*chris_notts wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:51 pm Mine's no longer active (or at least not shared), but I did write one in Haskell. Re: Index SCAica
Ditto. I've been thinking of maintaining an index of SCAs (location, features, syntax overview, etc) as a mid- or longterm project, though some of them not being available after a while is an issue.chris_notts wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:58 pmI still think that mine is/was really good, but the great problem with SCAs is that while everyone thinks theirs does it best, there's not a huge user pool and distributing / maintaining / supporting / hosting stuff is a thankless task. Come on now, you can't just mention it without providing a link to it.

Re: Index SCAica
This was something I started a thread about some time ago, and it never went anywhere, so there's probably not enough of substance to be worth linking to.
