We went from a class of twenty-seven at the start of the third year to nine who actually took the GCSE.

Now I wonder if the message is code for something like "Hello Headquarters, I have successfully hacked into user 'masako''s account and am ready to proceed."
So much better out of context

This raises the very important question: is the (obviously correct) day/month/year little- or big-endian?

Little-endian, because the bit which changes the fastest comes first.

Big-endian, because times are always big-endian, and hence dates have to also be big-endian as otherwise date/time combos are doomed to be middle-endian.

I had to google Piers Morgan. I think I was a bit happier when I didn't know who that was :)
