I'll use Ineshîmé (native spelling: 咲葩). It's the only one I have with enough development, and will still probably need vocabulary if the text describes many very modern items.

Weather update: We should still be on track to start on Friday (Eastern time). If you need more time with your torch, let us know. If you need less time, that's fine too—you can send the torch to the next participant early. If you need to reschedule your position, we'll adapt.

bradrn: here is a brief introduction to Galician. I'll send you an actual grammar in a few days, and a dictionary hopefully a few days after that. I'll still include specific grammar and vocab notes with the torch itself.

Seeing bradrn's reaction to the Galician grammar, I'm realizing that if trainwrecks could dream, their nightmares would be this conlang. I think I'm going to have to use a simplified version for this relay that doesn't involve as many irregular stems or unknowable syntactic double bluffs.

Well, I was half-joking… it’ll probably be fine. Anyway, the point of a relay is to misinterpret the text, isn’t it?

(Anyway, I still have a horrible feeling that I’ll end up using Wēchizaŋkəŋ, so I shouldn’t really call others’ languages too painful…)

Little late to follow on this one, but I think that'll be about the last week I have time for conlanging before mid-June. If there's a delay of a few days, I might have to drop out.

Australian–English pidgin. Mostly Australian, actually. I recall that most of the post was devoted to talking about how difficult it was to figure out that it descended from English at all. And of course, I might be recalling a different language entirely.

EDIT: Yes, I was indeed recalling the wrong language. The creole (not pidgin) was Tyilirra, not Booladjirra. And it was from Dutch, not English.
